I know it takes a lot of effort to gather a family of 18 together for a photo session; especially if they are living in different cities. But the benefits of doing it are huge. The photographs from such a session will mark a date in the history of a family. What a treasure to have!
This Grandma made the effort and gathered all of her children and grandchildren together for a photo session at The Legislative Bldg in Wpg. Some family came from as far away as Texas for a family reunion and this photo session was a part of that.
I enjoyed meeting everyone but the stars of the show were the 3 little girls featured in some of these images. They loved posing and were so good at it too.
Have a look:
This little one melted my heart with her big dark eyes and her many expressions. What a beauty at 6 weeks old!

The studio is looking a lot like Christmas these days with lights and Christmas ornaments everywhere.
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of photographing 2 little cuties who were all decked out for their pictures.
The first one was this beautiful 5 month old girl in her gorgeous Christmas dress.
She was followed by this handsome four-month old guy and his beautiful mom and dad.
The process of getting accredited with PPOC (The Professional Photographers of Canada), involves getting 10 images accepted in one category. The category I choose was Child and Infant Photography. The process of getting accredited forced me to get to a new level of achievement in my images. It forced me to look at some things that I had not thought of before in my images. It forced me to improve.
And that, at the end of the day, is the point.
These are the 10 images that got accepted:
