Yesterday was a very special day for this family of 19. It was the 50th wedding anniversary of their mom and dad, grandma and grandpa. To mark the occasion their children and grandchildren came from Japan, Vancouver and Chicago. I could feel the energy and the wonderful dynamics of this extended family and I loved being a part of it.

Christmas is still a couple of months away, but it is not too early to get your family Christmas pictures taken. As we all know, the time just before Christmas can be very busy with shopping and social functions.
This year I am again offering a Christmas mini session but am also trying to raise some money for The Cancer Society. All of our lives have been touched by this disease and I feel that we should all do what we can to help support research that is being done to fight it. To that end, I am going to donate $10 of each mini session to the Canadian Cancer Society. I’ll let you know just before Christmas how much I have raised.
Mini sessions do not always work well with children under the age of 3 but I am leaving that decision up to parents. If you think your toddler will sit for a mini session, then by all means, bring them. I will not however, include newborns under the age of 6 months.I also will not do mini sessions for groups of more than 5 people.

I met this little cutie pie when she was 2 weeks old. It’s amazing how much she has changed and grown. We had fun outside with her today even though the ground was saturated with water. At 4 months of age, this little girl loves to fly and to eat her hands. Mom and dad were kept very busy taking her hands out of her mouth. She’s could become be a fashion model when she grows up with her big blue eyes.
