It was my pleasure to photograph my friend Kristin and her boyfriend Mike yesterday on our property. They were fantastic subjects for my first session in my yard. One of the main reasons this property appealed to me were the dozens of possibilities for photography backdrops. Here we used an avenue of trees and a huge weeping willow.

This beautiful couple is living in 2 different countries but have now been together for 2.5 years. Long distance relationships are hard but I think these 2 have what it takes to make it work.
I enjoyed getting to know them and taking their pictures.

It was a pleasure to have worked with this lovely couple on Friday evening. I photograph a lot of babies and children and I love to do that, but it was such a treat to work with these 2 people. We walked along Waterfront Drive, chatted and stopped at a number of places to take pictures. You’ll probably recognize some of these Winnipeg spots.
I’m looking forward to photographing their August 6th wedding.

I love photographing children but it’s always nice to do a session with someone who actually wants to have their picture taken and that was the case tonight with this young lady on Waterfront Drive.
The temperature was finally conducive to being outside and the mosquito population seemed to be down because of the strong winds.

I love to photography children but children can be difficult. Children don’t always want to get their picture taken and that can be quite challenging. It’s always a treat to be work with someone who actually wants to get their picture taken, knows how to pose and is beautiful as well. M, the model in these pictures was a natural with poise and beauty and style. I really enjoyed working with her.
