I love meeting families and photographing their children while they grow up. It has been very rewarding to have done 8 sessions with this beautiful family over the last 5 years. I was currently working on a First Year Plan for their youngest son, but because of Covid we didn’t get the 4 sessions done in a year. L is 19 months old now and his big brother is 5. Aren’t they adorable?
It was a pleasure to have worked with this lovely couple on Friday evening. I photograph a lot of babies and children and I love to do that, but it was such a treat to work with these 2 people. We walked along Waterfront Drive, chatted and stopped at a number of places to take pictures. You’ll probably recognize some of these Winnipeg spots.
I’m looking forward to photographing their August 6th wedding.
Here’s a sneak peek of “a soon to be Mr. and Mrs.”
I had a great time with this beautiful young woman last night on Waterfront Drive. The area is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots to take pictures. I love the facade on one of the old buildings and the underside of the train bridge is really neat. Too bad the blue and brown wall is bricked over though. I loved using the wall!
Here’s a preview of last night’s session:
It was good to get back to the business of photography after taking a week off to photograph glaciers and remote communities in Alaska. I had a wonderful time on the Alaska cruise and managed to dodge a train derailment in Skagway by a few hours and an earthquake in Juneau by a day.
I took about 1000 photos during the week and I will be posting some of those as soon as I catch up on work here.
I enjoyed photographing this very playful and fun couple tonight on Waterfront Drive.
