I had the pleasure of photographing this lovely young lady a few days ago. It was one of those lovely mornings at Kildonan Park when I met her and her family. I had a blast doing this session.

UKraine Fundraiser (Winnipeg Photographers)
I am very upset by the atrocities in the war in Ukraine and I want to do what I can to help, so I decided to do a fundraiser with money going to the Canadian Red Cross for Ukraine. Here is the website I will be donating to.

This special means that you will pay only $50 for a full hour photography session, plus get an 8×10 print of your choosing from the session. That’s a value of $150 for only $50 and I will donate that $50 to the Canadian Red Cross.
This is in effect from April 3rd to the 24th (including Easter weekend) and includes up to 4 people. I welcome dogs so please bring your furry family friends. This special is just in time for Mother’s Day and I know mothers love to get pictures of their families, so why not take advantage of this special and use the print(s) as a gift for your mom?
This special does not include newborn sessions as they take much longer than an hour.
Other prints and digital images are available. Ask me for prices if you are interested but please note that I do not sell digital images separately from prints.

I love photographing children as they grow up and seeing the same families over the years. I’ve done a few sessions with this lovely family and their 2 sons, who are now 5 and 7 years old. We had a lot of fun doing this session at Kildonan Park.

It seems like almost every grad that I’ve met is leaving Winnipeg to go to school and this girl is no exception. She is off to Toronto next week. I wish her the best of luck but I’m sure she’ll be very successful.

Leave a commentI hadn’t done any photography sessions for over a month. That has been my choice. I don’t feel safe having people in my home studio with Covid cases being so high. I have a husband who has lymphoma and I want to be extra vigilant about exposure, especially with the new variants. My husband is fine right now and we want to keep it that way.
Now that we have warm weather and the leaves are out on the trees, I will do sessions outdoors. The session that I am featuring today was done on my property and the family shown lives right around the corner from us!
I love the picture below. Our neighbour’s dog, Gypsy, saw us outside and came over to visit. Gypsy was excited to give me hugs and kisses and didn’t want to leave. Usually, I welcome Gypsy, but in this case, I needed her to move, but the whole interaction gave us this wonderful picture!
After Gypsy left, we were able to get a posed image.
I loved photographing these 2 beautiful girls; aged 6 and 8. Aren’t they lovely?
Finally; a session!
Leave a commentFinally, after 3 months of no photography sessions; I was able to do one yesterday!
It was great to see 10 month old L and his 4 year old brother for L’s 3rd photography session. One more session and this family will receive their photo book containing images from all 4 sessions.
We had to work hard to coax smiles out of this little guy but we got a few. Lucky mom and dad with their 2 beautiful boys!
