It was a “Catch Me if You Can” type of session yesterday with this family. I caught 2 out of 3 kids: a 9-year-old and a 2-year-old but the 6-year-old remained illusive. I have Smarties in the studio but forgot to bring them with me. Live and Learn I say!

I had the pleasure of photographing this lovely family with three little girls last night. I have a family of all boys, so little girls completely melt my heart and these three sweethearts were wonderful to work with. We were in Kildonan Park, and surprisingly enough; there were no mosquitoes!

Walking in the Park!
This beautiful couple is living in 2 different countries but have now been together for 2.5 years. Long distance relationships are hard but I think these 2 have what it takes to make it work.
I enjoyed getting to know them and taking their pictures.

It was 3:30 in the afternoon and a perfect temperature of 24C. Everyone was dressed in lovely black and whites and Kildonan Park was shady; the perfect spot for photographing this large family of 14. Unfortunately, there was one very big problem and that was the mosquitoes. You wouldn’t think they would be so bad in the middle of the afternoon, but they were. There were swarms of them and even though I had some mosquito repellent along, it didn’t seem to stop them from trying to bite us.
Just be warned if you venture into the park. The Forks was not this bad and neither is Kilcona Park.
We got some amazing shots in spite of constantly trying to fight off mosquitoes and I thank this family for their endurance.

We had to work hard to get smiles out of this little cutie today. ! We did this session in Kildonan Park, where there are still a lot of leaves on some of the trees making it look quite magical!

The weather was perfect this afternoon for outdoor portraits, a bit of cloud, not much wind and not very cold. Then, near the end of the session, the sun came up which gave us some beautiful back light. That plus a great couple made for a lot of fun.

Denise and Jayce were married yesterday and I had the pleasure of being their wedding photographer. I had a great time working with them and their friends and family. It was very hot yesterday but everyone was a good sport and just kept right on going. They were married at the Kildonan Inn and we took wedding photos in Kildonan Park. The park was super busy yesterday with people everywhere, including 2 other wedding parties that I saw.
Denise looked beautiful and Jayce was quite dashing looking himself!
