Dog Model Call! (Winnipeg Dog Photographers)

I haven’t done very much photography in the last few months because of health reasons, but I am ready and excited to take start working again, and what better way to start than taking some pictures of dogs!

So, I am offering my model call special again from March 18th to the 31st.

Let me know if you are interested or if you have a friend who might be interested. You can contact me at the number on the poster or email me at christina@chrismcwilliamsphotography.com.

A $50 retainer has to be paid before your session to reserve your spot. This $50 can then be used toward the  purchase of more prints/digital images or refunded to you if you decide to only get the free 8×10 print.

In the last while I’ve created some imagination, surreal dog images using a combination of AI and photoshop. Here are a few of them:

This is our dog Zara in her perfect symmetry pose. I decided to give her some wings and put her into a strange place.

This is our dog Maddie, who died on Christmas Day. I wanted to create what the rainbow bridge might look like.

Otis loves to run and sometimes when he is running he actually flies through the air, so I created an image where he is flying high!

I would like to create more images like these and so I need more dogs pictures to use. That is, in part, the intent of this model call. Can you see your dog in a strange land, or flying through the air? Perhaps your dog passed over the rainbow bridge and you would like an image showing that. Let me know if this is something you would be interested in.

Such Cute Doggies! (Winnipeg Pet Photographers)

It was great to be back in the studio yesterday after having surgery for lung cancer, followed by a bout of pneumonia. It hasn’t been fun but I am slowly getting back to normal.

This was such a fun, easy session to start back with. The dogs were so cute and so easy to manage and the outfits this group wore were so adorable. Have a look!

Lovely Young Lady! (Winnipeg Family Photographers)

I had the pleasure of photographing this lovely young lady a few days ago. It was one of those lovely mornings at Kildonan Park when I met her and her family. I had a blast doing this session.

Look at this beautiful young girl!

Simply Adorable! (Winnipeg Child Photographers)

One of my favorite kids came to visit me yesterday and we got some amazing pictures done. I’ve been photographing this little girl since she was born and she just keeps getting more beautiful. She also loves to dress up and follows directions like a pro.

Have a look:

Beautiful Family! (Winnipeg Family Photographers)

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family that I hadn’t seen for many years. I think you will agree, that these girls and their mom are stunning. Sorry, Dad that you didn’t get a picture posted on the blog. The girls definitely stole this show!

Have a look.

I met this fun 10 month old puppy yesterday. It was challenging to contain her energy and pose her but look at these amazing images!

Spirit of Hope Fundraiser (Winnipeg Dog Photography)

I am once again raising money for Spirit of Hope Rescue (https://spiritofhoperescue.ca/) by doing photo sessions with your fur babies. The poster below shows the Christmas backdrop that I am planning to use for these sessions but I also want to do some more generic pictures with a plain backdrop. The Christmas backdrop would be perfect for your Christmas cards (for example) and the other one would be a great memory picture that would be appropriate all year round.

Spirit of Hope is an amazing group of dedicated people who rescue dogs from more than 38 Indigenous communities in Manitoba. They have rescued more than 3500 dogs in the last 9 years. We have 2 of those dogs and are very grateful to this organization. Help me to help support them but bringing your pooch for this Christmas Dog Portrait session.

This is my new dog Otis in a formal posed picture. Isn’t he beautiful!

Just Me and My Baby Brother!

I did a session with these 2 beautiful boys yesterday. Baby J was just 2.5 weeks old and his big brother is almost 3. The last time I saw this big brother was when he was just a tiny baby himself.

I had a great time photographing them. Here’s a sneak peek!

LOVE these Dogs! (Winnipeg Dog Photographers)

I love dogs so it was a lot of fun to photograph the new puppy in our family, as well as, her sister, 12 year old Annie. These are my son’s family dogs in Calgary. Chili Bean, the puppy is a 6 months old goden doodle and is full of energy. Annie is 12 and although she has slowed down, she still likes walks and is very affectionate.

I love these dogs!

Good Looking Family of Four! (Winnipeg Family Photographers)

It had been six years since I last saw this family of four. We did this session in our yard and also used the railway tracks. The light was harsh on the tracks but we did manage to get some great images. I enjoyed photographing them again.

This was the kids 6 years ago:

This is them now:
