Angelic Newborn Boy! (Winnipeg Newborn Photographers)

The second newborn boy of the week was this angelic looking little guy. Z did not want to wait to meet his mom and dad, so he came into the world a bit early. He is a perfect baby boy at 3 weeks old.

I loved cuddling and posing this beautiful baby boy. Have a look at this preview:

This is the first of 2 baby boys that I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this week. This little guy was super cooperative and sleepy and absolutely beautiful.

I’ve been totally spoiled by my tiny clients this week. Newborn Baby L was the perfect little girl for her first photo session today. She slept and slept and slept some more and in between sleeping, she gave me some adorable expressions! She was the perfect newborn model and I loved every minute I spent with her.  Her 2.5 year old sister is as cute as a button and she came along and got into a few pictures as well. Smarties did the trick to get smiles out of her!

I had too many great images to just post a few, so I made a collage with nine of them.

Have a look at this beautiful baby girl!

Accredited in Newborn Photography! (Winnipeg Newborn Photographers)

I am very pleased to announce that I received accreditation in newborn photography with The Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) this past month.

I am proud to be a member of PPOC and am committed to continually learning and improving in my photography skills. As a teacher, I tried to instill a love of learning in my students. Life long learning is something that I feel is very important to growth and happiness and is something that I intent to continue doing. Photography is the perfect way for me to achieve this. I love what I do and receiving this recognition is a powerful incentive for me to continue.

The Accreditation process recognizes photographers who have reached a nationally accepted standard of proficiency and knowledge in photographic arts. An Accreditation is achieved by submitting ten images in a chosen category to a PPOC Board of Review. This peer-reviewed program challenges candidates to demonstrate their capability of delivering exceptional quality photography in a chosen category.  – See more at: http://www.ppoc.ca/en/membership/accreditation-categories#sthash.Oe0tU8DM.dpuf

I had previously received accreditation in Child and Infant Portraits and so this is my second accreditation.

Here are a few of the images that I used for this accreditation.
