Session number 2 on Saturday was with this adorable little person and her doggie! This little one loved ringing the Christmas bells and tossing the foam snowballs that I had. I had a great time with this family!

One of my favorite kids came to visit me yesterday and we got some amazing pictures done. I’ve been photographing this little girl since she was born and she just keeps getting more beautiful. She also loves to dress up and follows directions like a pro.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family that I hadn’t seen for many years. I think you will agree, that these girls and their mom are stunning. Sorry, Dad that you didn’t get a picture posted on the blog. The girls definitely stole this show!
Have a look.
I did a session with these 2 beautiful boys yesterday. Baby J was just 2.5 weeks old and his big brother is almost 3. The last time I saw this big brother was when he was just a tiny baby himself.
I had a great time photographing them. Here’s a sneak peek!
It had been six years since I last saw this family of four. We did this session in our yard and also used the railway tracks. The light was harsh on the tracks but we did manage to get some great images. I enjoyed photographing them again.

This is them now:
I love photographing children as they grow up and seeing the same families over the years. I’ve done a few sessions with this lovely family and their 2 sons, who are now 5 and 7 years old. We had a lot of fun doing this session at Kildonan Park.

I think I get the most beautiful little kids coming to my studio. Look at this little one year old and her big brown eyes! Isn’t she gorgeous!
I hadn’t done any photography sessions for over a month. That has been my choice. I don’t feel safe having people in my home studio with Covid cases being so high. I have a husband who has lymphoma and I want to be extra vigilant about exposure, especially with the new variants. My husband is fine right now and we want to keep it that way.
Now that we have warm weather and the leaves are out on the trees, I will do sessions outdoors. The session that I am featuring today was done on my property and the family shown lives right around the corner from us!
I love the picture below. Our neighbour’s dog, Gypsy, saw us outside and came over to visit. Gypsy was excited to give me hugs and kisses and didn’t want to leave. Usually, I welcome Gypsy, but in this case, I needed her to move, but the whole interaction gave us this wonderful picture!
After Gypsy left, we were able to get a posed image.
I loved photographing these 2 beautiful girls; aged 6 and 8. Aren’t they lovely?
I love meeting families and photographing their children while they grow up. It has been very rewarding to have done 8 sessions with this beautiful family over the last 5 years. I was currently working on a First Year Plan for their youngest son, but because of Covid we didn’t get the 4 sessions done in a year. L is 19 months old now and his big brother is 5. Aren’t they adorable?
Today I am featuring 2 of my favorite kids; my great niece and nephew, who I have been photographing since they were born. Sarah has just turned 17 and Nate is now 15.
There are many features around our property that work well for photographing people; including the train tracks (which I know you are not allowed to be on, but the train seldom comes and when it does it goes really really slowly), a forest of pine trees, a farmer’s field and lots of colourful trees. We did this session right around our property.
