Shelley and Don are Married (Winnipeg Wedding Photography)

I had the privilege of photographing Shelley and Don’s wedding yesterday and being a part of this very special day.

The venue for their event was Terrace 55 in Assiniboine Park. The setting was amazing. Everything was elegant and very well planned. I loved the dream catchers that adorned the ceiling of Terrace 55. Each dream catcher was hand crafted and was different. You can see the dream catchers in a couple of images in this gallery. The light in this restaurant is a dream for photographers. Most wedding venues are dark with no window light and this spot is the exact opposite.

I can’t say enough about this couple. Don is a stand up comedian and really is a  fun and funny guy. Don can be serious but he also kept us laughing  during the photo session. Make sure you have a look at the one where Shelley is in the foreground and Don is the background in the park. Shelley and I hit it off right from the start and I hope we can continue to keep in touch. There’s a lot more to this lovely woman than you see on the surface and I have enjoyed getting to know her. The love between these 2 people is apparent when you see them together.

I wish you both many blessings.

Here is a short slide show and a gallery of images from the day. The images in both are the same.

  1. Thank you Chris, your a wonderful person and a very talented photographer. Don and my wedding pictures are spectacular. You were able to capture our vision, our love, and most all the emotion of the day. You made this very very short day, memorable and everlasting.
