The Duck Pond in Assiniboine Park was a busy spot today with all the people gathered for Spring Sprint.  Spring Sprint is a fund-raiser for the research and treatment of  brain tumors. It was heartening to see all the teams that came out in support of someone in their family who had either died from a brain tumor, or was suffering from one now. I got involved with this organization when my niece was diagnosed with one. (She is fine.) It was great to see all the staff from her school who came out to volunteer  today. Thank you Scott for organizing this event!
