It was a busy day at the St. James Civic Centre today where the annual Highland Dance Competition was being held. I enjoyed photographing these lovely young ladies dancing to the bagpipes today. (Although I have to say; 8 hours of bagpipes is a teensy bit too much!) The little ones were as cute as buttons in their kilts and socks and teeny tiny shoes and the older ones were very impressive in how high they were able to leap while keeping time with the music.
