I’m behind in my blog posts. My son and his family are here right now. I visit them quite a bit in Calgary but it isn’t often that the 4 of them come here and I want to enjoy every minute of it. The 4 are: my son, my daughter-in-law, my grandson and their very sweet Golden Retriever. My dog, Taylor and their dog, Annie largely ignore each other. That isn’t because of Annie either. She is quite willing to play with Taylor, but Taylor has never been playful and so Annie’s efforts at engaging him in play have been in vain.
Yesterday, I had the whole family, 14 of us, over for dinner. It’s very special to me to have all of us together. The extra bonus was that I actually got some pictures of the 14 of us together. A wonderful event all around!
I photographed a beautiful wedding on Saturday with Shannon, my daughter-in-law and will get those pictures into a post as well.
So I have been busy but haven’t scheduled any shoots this week, so will get caught up on editing. And having fun!
On Friday, I did a shoot at Kilcona with this lovely family.
I’m going to see if I can do a “head switch” on the dog. He must have found something more interesting than my woofing!
Great shots! The lighting on that second one is amazing! What did you use?
I used an on camera flash. That’s it. Helps to have beautiful subjects and a great backdrop.
